Thanks for your comment, Forest. You would have been right up until about 2003, when it was decided that the warslapper wasn’t large enough to be classified as a bird and was reclassified as a micro-bird by the International Committee of Birddom (ICoB). This reclassification actually took away the warslapper’s telekinetic abilities, meaning they were hereupon unable to alter the amount of time ice stays in a cooler.

Frustrated by this fact, many warslapper supporters actually unleashed thousands of the micro-birds upon several campsites laden with fishermen with the intention that they attack their coolers with their micro-beaks and cause all the ice to vacate. It worked, although the creature retains its classification to the scientific majority.

You know I always thought that there was a 4th thing that affected this whole thing and that was the angle of decline of the greater warslapper’s dive to catch fish (a little known Arctic bird known to posses ice melting telekinesis skills). Maybe I was wrong though and they are just affecting the melting of the ice caps.
